Now of course you can do lots of easy elf ideas using items you already have around the house, including plenty of ideas using the humble toilet paper roll, buuuut I'm a sucker for all things teeny tiny so I love some good elf accessories and props.
Where to find elf props and accessories
You can find tiny props at dollar stores and craft stores, just take a look at the craft aisle with all the beads and doll house miniatures. Lots of toys also come in mini sizes like 5 surprise eggs, Shopkins real littles, worlds smallest toys, American Girl doll accessories and Our Generation doll accessories which are all perfect elf sized props.
However, if you want to save time and grab everything from the one place, there's plenty of Etsy stores that specialise in elf sized items. The best part is you don't even need to leave the house.
Please take note of shipping times when ordering from Etsy to ensure props will arrive in time. These items are not official elf on the shelf accessories, however can be used with all brands of elves.
