We've done lots of making this week. Now that she's older {and needs constant entertainment} we've started getting into craft activities. There's always playdough on the go around the house and this week she left some out overnight {because mummy forgot about it and didn't pack it away} so there was lots of crumbly playdough mess everywhere the next day when she found it and tried to play with it. Crumbly playdough goes EVERYWHERE so I've taken playdough off our list of activities for the next week or so because I value my clean floors. Other than playdough we've also been making lots of block towers, pretty pictures with her special mess free pens, paintings with water and lots of "real" paintings. Seems she is quite a budding artist just like I was as a kid.

I remember those days well LOL - lots of cleaning up but worth it to see them enjoy themselves and be creative! That apron/smock thingy she has on looks superb!!
ReplyDeleteYea thankgod I found it at Ikea or we'd be in big trouble lol.
DeleteCrumbly Play Doh is the pits isn't it! Unfortunately my kids love it but my god, the mess! Great pic there that your kiddo is painting!
ReplyDeleteYes crumbly playdough is horrible and gets everywhere lol but it is fun before it goes hard and yucky.
DeleteI miss those days!
ReplyDeleteIts fun, but very messy lol
DeletePS well - maybe not the mess ;-)
ReplyDeleteMy girls are now 14, 15 & 17. It's only the younger two that still seem to want to spend a great deal of time in the holidays making and creating (usually messes). We had a day of painting today and tomorrow we will be making jewellery.
ReplyDeleteOh making jewellery sounds like fun!
DeleteMy boys still enjoy painting and making ...a mess mostly but hey I wouldn't have it any other way.
ReplyDeleteYea I've learnt to embrace the mess :)
DeleteWe don't do much painting not because I hate the mess! Glad your girl enjoys it.
ReplyDeleteI only let her do it outside lol.
DeleteOh Playdoh... why must it be so messy, yet so much fun! :) Excuse my tardiness this week!
