I checked her normal hidey holes. In the basket under the pram - no phone, but I did find a spoon. I looked behind the seat part of her fold up couch - no phone, but I did find a spoon. I checked under the couch - no phone, but yep you guessed it, I did find a spoon. Funny I didn't even know the five million spoons were missing. She really is a stealthy ninja baby.
Eventually we worked out what had happened. Alas I was not going to drive over an hour to collect my phone late at night so I had to make peace with the fact that we'd be spending our first night apart. Thankgod I still have facebook on my laptop because it provided quite a bit of entertainment while I was pining for my beloved phone.

Sam kept me adequately updated on my phones every move. I felt like a nervous mum sitting at home while my child went out drinking with friends for the first time. Sam of course was my spy keeping a watchful eye on all the shenanigans. Apparently my phone isn't that much of a rebel though because all it did was have dinner (and at the table no less) then go to bed early.
The little unplanned excursion certainly made me realise just how much I rely on my phone. I went to grab it so many times even though I knew I didn't have it. So the next day I drove an hour and a half to collect my adventure seeking phone. The phone and the ninja baby are now both grounded (not that they acknowledge it or care).
