It's amazing how our modern culture tends to over complicate things. Best of luck with it, the end is in sight now, and it will all be worth it in the end (I had all day sickness up to the day I gave birth, but now I"m up for another one again! how we forget..)Emilyhttp://mamagoingsolo.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143258261280296039.post-47845388014251154782013-06-30T13:13:20.868+10:002013-06-30T13:13:20.868+10:00The midwives and physio have both told me the birt...The midwives and physio have both told me the birth should be relatively easy because my pelvis is already open and apparently as the baby pushes through it tightens it back to normal and feels better. We told a few people the name as thats the first thing they've been asking since we found out the sex and I have actually been told that its a crap name and I could do better than that! I cant believe people actually say stuff like that to pregnant hormonal women. I think next time we will be keeping the name a complete secret.Finding Myself Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02214517047937382835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143258261280296039.post-70086371773306056562013-06-08T19:13:25.872+10:002013-06-08T19:13:25.872+10:00Oh Love it Toni! I can't remember doing that and I know I had some freak out moments - but now I have this gorgeous daughter so I am doing ok. Really glad to read that your life is going well. And congratulations!!! I asked my gp if I should reschedule and she said dont bother because everything you learn goes out the window once the pain starts. Im pretty good at breathing through pain so hopefully I will be ok.Finding Myself Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02214517047937382835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7143258261280296039.post-56305365738613562792013-06-07T19:31:48.335+10:002013-06-07T19:31:48.335+10:00I wish I took more belly photos and did more regul...I wish I took more belly photos and did more regular pelvic floor exercises...gosh was it a shock afterwards how weak my pelvic floor became but luckily it sorted itself out. I wish I didn't worry so much and read heaps of books because in the end the birth wasn't text book, everything I read went out the window and like you suggested, I followed my instincts and took it bit by bit.
