52 WEEKS OF MEMORIES | 18 - WATER

We've had our fair share of water this week with pretty major flooding last Friday. I'm seriously glad I'm not working right now otherwise I would've been one of the poor people stuck in traffic for six hours trying to get home. My mum ended up flooded in at her place, my brother was flooded in at his {well technically he couldn't even get home to my sister in law and nieces} and we were flooded in our street here. I'm starting to think we all picked pretty crappy places to live!

Anyway as much as I wanted to get a cool shot of bub channelling peppa pig and jumping in muddy puddles, she doesn't have any gum boots so that never happened. So instead we went out the back and played with the water table like we do most afternoons.

  1. We had a rather wet and wild night here. I woke to hear drip, drip, dripping and a pool of water on my floor. I have the perfect photo to share for this week. Will play along on Instagram.

    1. Thankfully the only water we got in the actual house was the rain that was somehow coming in under the front door.

  2. We had heaps of water also, but sadly underneath is black mud that dad will NOT let them get in. They still have fun out the front!

    1. By the next day the water had all but disappeared and you wouldn't even know it flooded.

  5. Oh you have to get here some gum boots! Not fancy ones because once they have a good splash they'll be full of water! Love those water tables, great invention :)

  6. Another area to focus on when cleaning any salt pool is the pool's water pump. Left unattended, salt from the pool water can catch in the pump's water filter.water beads
