52 WEEKS OF MEMORIES | 3 - SKY

I'm a little addicted to taking photos of the clouds and the sky. I'm not sure why exactly, it could be because that's where I assume dad is, or just the fact that its so pretty. Either way I'm always drawn to the sky and the clouds. Flying through the clouds when I went to Melbourne on the weekend was scary, because I hate flying; but was also completely awesome. Its astonishing to think that we even have the ability to do things like fly so high that we can be in and above the clouds. It's truly amazing. Unfortunately bub didn't come with me on the plane so this is as close as she gets to the clouds....

  1. I love photographing the sky too! I love a sunrise or a sunset, love interesting looking clouds against a vibrant blue sky, love shades of pink, orange and yellow in the sky. The sky is ever changing and beautiful! Lovely shot there of your little one against the sky :-)

    1. Ironically it was crappy weather all day that I took that photo bar about 20 minutes when it cleared up enough while we were out.

  3. Not only did I manage a blog post (which you already know about) but I really had a lot of fun with this week's prompt. Strange given there was hardly a cloud in sight all week.

I love taking pictures of the sky as well, particularly sunrise (when I'm feeling very enthusiastic) and sunset! The colours amaze me!

    1. I'm not normally up at sunrise anymore (thankgod), but I saw it this week because we had to be at the airport before sunrise. It almost made me want to get up early to see it each day.... almost.

  6. My dad did a skydive recently and said the strangest part was going through the clouds. Must have been amazing - but as much as I love the sky, I couldn't do that!
I love seeing the clouds out of the aeroplane window.
My 3 year old recently started seeing pictures in the clouds - that was exciting. Now we can lie in the garden in the summer and watch the sky together.

    1. There's no way I could skydive, flying is scary enough, I wouldn't want to be on the outside of the plane! I used to love finding shapes in the clouds.

    1. Yea its kind of odd when you think about it hey. We're all wandering around so obsessed with puffs of moisture floating thousands of metres above us. We're a bunch of weirdos.

  15. Beautiful cherub and oh those clouds. My husband and I started cloud appreciation since we have a new verandah. Kind of a joke but seriously they do help you to chill and appreciate.

Thanks for linking up last week - catching up because I had no wifi on holidays and at a paddling regatta.
