Maternity photoshoot x 2

T and I just received our photos from our 35 week maternity shoot. All I can say is wow. I am so beyond thrilled with them. Ive mentioned before that I am my biggest critic when it comes to photos of myself and yet when I first looked at these instead of psycho analysing each and every photo I just burst into tears. Happy tears. Admittedly hormonal tears, but never-the-less very much happy tears. I have never loved photos of myself as much as I love these. I cannot thank Jane enough for taking them. They really are precious memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. Im so excited I just had to share a few with you.

I love this one because I look so happy. In reality it was freezing (its winter here) and I had countless pieces of grass and twigs sticking into me. But I love the fact that it looks so effortlessly comfortable.

I know this one is your typical cliché maternity photo, but I have to admit I am a sucker for cliché photos!

I love this one for numerous reasons - T is in it, hes touching my belly, we're on the beach and we look content. What more can you ask for really.

This is only a tiny selection of the awesome photos we have. I am so glad that we got a professional photo shoot done (well technically this is our second one) and now we have all these wonderful photos to share with our daughter in the future.

  1. I'm glad I got some done also, well with No.3 - I still look at them and can't believe how BIG I actually was :)

  2. So beautifully done, such a great keepsake because they grow up far too fast.
LOVE the love heart, even though its been done so many times everyone still adds their own "feeling into it".
The first photo, of you laying in the grass, is simply gorgeous.

  3. I never got any pregnancy photos done because I was so huge and preferred to spend money on getting a photo shoot done of the baby and our family. Love these photos and you look awesome for 35 weeks!

  7. Beautiful photos. A friend got some done with her second bub and had one with a satin sash draped over her belly and it was simply gorgeous. I wish I had taken more belly pics.

    1. I got some with a satin sheet draped around me and they came out really good too. Didnt include all the ones I loved though because then there wouldve been 30 photos in this post.

  8. They are gorgeous. I didn't do any proper maternity photos, just random ones here and there. I was an absolute WHALE though so I don't really mind that there aren't many pieces of evidence of it. Ha!

  13. Beautiful shots Toni..I had photos and my belly painted with flowers by a friend. My older sons both had their bellies painted but with sharks with blood coming out of the sharks mouth. The group shot was pretty interesting! How exciting you are at 30+ weeks-not too much longer now..

  15. Damn! I wish we'd thought of that!
We have some 'progress shots' somewhere and the missus once drew a big smiley face on her full-term belly but a professional shot is a great idea! Thanks for sharing

  16. I LOVE the first one in the pink dress - you are one gorgeous mama-to-be! I wish I'd done it but it just never occurred to me that I should capture the moment so to speak. They will be so lovely to share with your bub once they're older :)
